Halo 3 Caused Xbox Live Glitches

Well it appears one person actually tried to play UNO on Halo 3’s launch day only to find that it was crashing and freezing. It seems like the huge strain that Halo 3 put on the network caused some other games to stop working.

Now really this is not acceptable, did someone in Microsoft not know that a few people will be playing online when Halo 3 was released? They even took down the system to prepare for Halo 3 and yet we still have problems.

Granted they were small problems that were rectified quickly but when you pay for a service you expect it to work properly and yes not everyone plays Halo 3.

Glad to see they sorted it out quickly though, however it does now appear that the traffic on Live is prioritised otherwise it should have been Halo 3 that failed.

It happens with any big game release, I still struggle to even get into the Sony Warhawk servers due to their inaptitude in sorting out the issue.
