Halo 3 is breaking all pre-order records across the states and we still have a month and a half before it gets released.
It is also bucking the industry trend of ignoring video games by signing up exclusive deals with Pontiac, 7Eleven, Mountain Dew, Comcase and Burger King to name a few.
There is no way I am missing out on this game but I am one of many who have not pre-ordered yet. I am still deciding where I should pre-order from. I know a few places may end up having launch parties which would obviously be the first choice.
However I may also pre-order a copy from Kalahari.net to make sure that I get a copy on the day as well…..
If there are no delays I can see this being one of the most played games at the rAge lan this year.

This will be probably sell the most copies for a game ever. Every person who buys a 360 will get this game with it basically. And there will basically be no people playing on any online game except Halo. It will be crazy.

I do think a large section of the Gears community will carry on. The games are not exactly competitors…
They are quite different.. I do think this will signal the end of the recent Rainbow 6 revival though…
I have full intention of finishing Halo 3 4 player co-op at rAge this year,,,
