Get your Spartan boots on Halo fans because the Reach beta is coming to an Xbox 360 near you, and very soon. This, obviously only if you are an owner of Halo 3 ODST, which we assume you are… because, well… I addressed you as “Halo Fans”.

Moving on.

The beta will be ready to eat your bandwidth on May 3rd, which means that while there is still a little wait ahead, it’s not so bad. Microsoft have also been kind enough to finally release the games’ oh-so-pretty box-art as well.

Give it a gander, I made it nice and big just for you, after the jump.

Halo anything is hardly shovelware. They have incredibly high production values, and it’s easy to see that even if you don’t like the Halo games – and I don’t.

I still think its shovelware, Halo 3 sucked campaign and multiplayer wise, and the graphics were never anything to write home about. I even read an article saying, that those Awesome looking Halo reach screen shots weren’t the real engine. It was the crytech engine that supported those nice shots.. The real engine looks tottaly different.

So Bungie please kill the franchise, i swear if they release a Halo Galaxy forces it will probably sell as well

I read on the internet that vampires are real but only appear in cities where crime is below 10%.

Halo’s multiplayer is unrivalled, its a kak game, but the people that play it make this game amazingly awesome!

I have never remembered any halo story and ive played all 3, it takes me a whole week to finish the games, coz there so boring single player and i can only play for an hour at a time, kinda like Half life 2, the games asset but me in cryogenic sleep

I will agree with you on Halo, the story never struck me as anything special, it’s a cool story with Spartans that pwn and all, just not a great one. I will however heavily disagree with you on Half Life, the series has been incredible and pretty much invented the modern system of storytelling in videogames.

It’s clear that lans is one of COD/Madden types. Stop arguing with him. You are wasting your time.

i for one really enjoyed Halo 1,2 and 3. I enjoyed the campaigns because at the time Halo 1 and 2 were pretty much the only good games out there with coop. And I enjoyed Halo 3 because of its 4player coop… and the game had really great level design and works extremely well 4 players. Halo ODST was FAIL in my opinion though.

But you honestly can’t argue Halo’s multiplayer, the multiplayer is really all types of WIN. I love Halo multiplayer and would much rather spend a LAN playing Halo than anything else.
