Here’s a new trailer for Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break

One of the more compelling reasons to get an Xbox is the newest game from Max Payne and Alan Wake creators, Remedy. Called Quantum Break, it’s a game that centres on time, how it’s able to be fractured, and the situations that arise from that.

You may have forgotten it exists, and I can’t say I blame you; the game was announced what seems like forever ago, and Remedy tends to work on a slow burn. Thankfully, when they do release their games, they tend to be excellent.

What makes the game double interesting is that the game will play out alongside an in-game televised story, which then changes based on the choices players make; an odd blend of passive and active entertainment that could work – or could end up falling flat.

When I last saw the game running with my own eyes, it looked incredible – but that was a while ago, and the game seems to have undergone quite a significant change since then. Notably, its ditched the main actor for its protagonist, replacing him instead with Shawn Ashmore. I’m okay with that, because he seems a far more human character than the last chap.

He was on stage at the Game Awards last night to show off a new cinematic trailer for the game, which, honestly, doesn’t really tell us very much – but continues to look rather nice.

“Quantum Break is a blockbuster game with time-amplified action and a suspenseful storyline brought to life in a way never done before by fusing gameplay and a gripping live action show. Time itself becomes fractured in a time travel experiment, Jack Joyce with his newly gained powers fights the secretive Monarch Solutions to put things right before it’s too late. The actions you take and choices you make shape your experience in the show, creating a new and unique entertainment experience.”

It’s coming exclusively to Xbox One on April 5th, 2016.

I dunno why but this game doesn’t really grab me. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

The other problem of course, is that Dark Souls 3 releases in April as well. And that game will get my money ahead of pretty much everything else.

Seriously! It comes out April 5th. Ignore the exclamation mark in too lazy to try to erase it on my Galaxy.

Seeing the pic, made me think of this joke.
So what’s the difference between a Kit Kat and a chick from Boksburg?
There are only 4 finger in a Kit Kat
