We’ve already touched upon how Sunset Overdrive’s gameplay feels like a technicolour romp of Tony Hawk and Gears of War, or playing video games on LSD. Something which I have never, ever done or forced a friend to do when he bought Resident Evil 2 I promise you can’t prove a damn thing. Well here’s some off-screen footage of my clumsy digits in action.
If some of that footage is shaky, I do apologise as I had a rather enthusiastic Armenian high-fiving my shoulders every time I did something and the camera was balanced on my foot. I was rather enamoured with Sunset Overdrive last week. The game oozes pure attitude, runs as smoothly as your starfish the morning after eating El Diablo hotwings and is a proper return to form for Insomniac Studios.
And yes, your crates are still safe. Sunset Overdrive is out in October around the world. Which more or less than a month after the Xbox One launches this side. Hint hint wink wink say no more.

This game looks fantastic….exactly what i am looking. 8 player coop large open world free running shooter with gorgeous visuals. I will be playing the hell out of this one !

Night defense looks sweet. Its the daytime coop free roam that is unbelievably impressive ! Day 1 for me !
