Ubisoft’s annual E3 press conference is the third of the day, sandwiched neatly between EA’s lunch-time convocation and Sony’s end of the evening extravaganza. They’re promising to show off some pretty sweet stuff – with a bunch of things you already know about – and some that you don’t.
They’ve confirmed that Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Rayman Legends, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Splinter Cell Blacklist and Watch Dogs will be on the show floor, as well as showcased at the conference – but will also offer you your first look at "exclusive next-generation games, innovative editions of popular franchises and new brands and titles".
According to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot "This is a pivotal moment for the video game industry, and E3 is the opportunity for us to share our vision for the future.
"We have many incredible games in development, and we’re especially excited to share more on our next-gen titles, which will deliver more connected, immersive and interactive experiences to our fans."
One of those games could be a brand new racing game from Ubisoft Reflections – the folks who brought you the criminally underlooked Driver: San Francisco called “The Crew.” From the video below, it also looks like Aisha Taylor will be returning to host. which is a pity; she’s awesome, but I’d really love to see more of the frankly mental Mr Caffeine.
If you’re in South Africa, you may have to pull an all-nighter because Ubisoft conference only kicks off at 3pm in Los Angeles, which by my terrible time-zone calculations is midnight locally.

Hence the “excursions” after hours! It keeps me from making trouble at the event itself 😉

I’m starting to get a bit nervous about the stick of truth game. Been very quiet, and I thought it was supposed to release back in March? And TV/movie games have never done well (besides the interactive story that was Walking Dead).
