As we told you yesterday, Marvel vs Capcom 3 was – after years and years of begging – all but announced. Today we bring you the official teaser trailer for the game, from Capcom’s Captivate event in Hawaii.
There’s no gameplay so far, but you can easily tell it’s running on the SFIV engine – and the prospect of that engine running a fast-paced Marvel cross-up excites me no end. characters confirmed by the demo include Ryu, Iron-Man, Wolverine, Chris Redfield, the hulk and Morrigan. There’s no word of release date yet, but after waiting over a decade I’m sure we can all wait a little longer.
I’m just glad Capcom managed to secure the rights to the Marvel universe again – rights that now belong to the Disney corporation.
