Being the smug PC gamer that I am I have always been sceptical about mobile gaming. Often the general perception is that mobile games are just mindless fun games, but we’ve been proved wrong a couple of times now.
Games for mobile devices are becoming more in-depth and one of those is In Fear I Trust. The psychological thriller built on the Unreal Engine is to be released on iOS early this year and will later be ported to PC and Andriod.
[field name=iframe]“We hope you enjoy the opening for the first episode of In Fear I Trust. Consider it an introduction to an episodic mental meltdown that’ll break you like a bad habit. 1979 never looked so nefarious, let alone on the IPad,” said Scott Cromie, Design Director of Turn Me Up Games, Inc.
“There’s really nothing to say without dropping spoilers. It’s really driven by a deep narrative experience that aims to leave the average player feeling disturbed and overwhelmed,” comments Aleksey Savchenko, executive producer of BWF. “In short, the ten episodes comprising the first season are difficult for me to fully wrap my mind around.”
I think it’s about time to get used to mobile gaming as equal to console and PC gaming, regardless the graphics. The definition of so called “hardcore gaming” is changing. Better me an iPad or something, despite my feeling that it’s completely useless because, well, I have a PC 😛
