Update: It has been pointed out to us ny RSA-Ace that the special only starts tomorrow (August 12)
If you live near any of the following stores then this story is just for you.
Alberton, Canal Walk, Eastgate, East Rand Retail Park, Gateway, Menlyn, Polokwane, Sandton, The Glen or Woodmead.
The Incredible Connections at these spots are all participating in an incredible gaming sale and at the same time are running an awesome competition where you can win over R10 000 worth of PS3 goods.
First the sale, the following titles are all going for R150 each for the PS3
- Uncharted 2
- DJ Hero Bundle (yes bundle which means you get the peripheral as well)
- Bioshock 2
- Heavy Rain
- MAG
And then for the 360 we have
- Tekken 6
- Halo ODST
- Mass Effect 2
- Forza 3
Plus there around another 30 titles on top of this list and not to mention a pile of games for the Wii, DS, PSP, PC and PS2 all going at R100 each.
They are also seeing a Wii bundle which includes the Wii, White Sports Pack, Remote, Nunchuck, DS Lite, Super Mario Galaxy and Wii Sports Resort for R3999. So that’s 2 consoles for under R4 000
But if you are completely broke then you are still going to want to get down there as they are giving away a PS3 hamper valued at R10 000. The hamper includes a 250Gb PS3, 10 games, 2 controllers, a Blu-Ray remote and a R500 PSN voucher.
All you need to do to enter is fill in a form on site and drop it into the entry box, no purchase necessary.
And here you thought you would have nothing to do this weekend. The sale runs from today until the end of the month but I would strongly recommend going today to ensure you get the games you want.

Yeah same. I think when I was telling Gavin about the specials I should’ve left out Gateway, just so no one else goes there….

One more thing since I’m commenting so much. I’m no 100% sure the competition entry will also be on site. It might only be in the newspaper advert (I got mine in the Northglen News).

Check again, it’s with the normal Incredible Connection adverts. There are two pamphlets. One with IGS (Incredible Gaming Sale) written on it. It’s on the last page of that.

Well here’s a shocker, IC Sandton had pretty much nothing available to walk in customers…
Apparently most things, including all available DJ Heroes were “booked” by yesterday evening.
I assume that means the staff got priority…

Bloody hell! I got BFBC2, Bioshock 2 and MAG for under R900 this morning. I decided to skip on DJ Hero, because I hate house/techno crap and although it was cheap, my moratorium on plastic crap still stands… although the wife was keen to get it (because of Daft Punk?), but I distracted her with one of my manly nipples (true story!). The security guard at IC saw my man nipples too, and she had a smile on her face.
Morale of the Story: Bobby K’s nipples make women weak in their knees.
