Cartoon indie zoe

I know you all missed your dose of Indie Zoe last week, but really, I was far too busy playing all the AAA games at E3. Besides, most indies were wise enough to stay away from releasing any news last week – they knew it wouldn’t make top billing. But, here’s the stuff you might have missed.

While there were a bunch of indie darlings at E3, the most notable was our locally developed Broforce. We have been really proud of these guys, and it’s awesome to see all the Sony executives change their twitter handles to bro-names.

Changes to End User License Agreements (EULA) are causing a bit of a stir, especially for Minecraft creator Markus Persson. Over on twitter, he showed off the ridiculously biased questions being asked by established gaming journalists.

Mike Bithell, the creator of Thomas Was Alone, is building up some hype for his new game, Volume. Check out his live-action trailer:

I’m not going to tell you about any bundles this week. Instead, head on over to GoG.com or Steam – the sales are on and your wallets will be begging for mercy soon.

Prototype of the Week

Go punch people in the face with your incredible grammar skills. Um, wait, really? Check out this iOS game that’s supposed to help you with language – the demo video for Grammarai looks pretty cool. I really enjoy language-based games; I’m still desperate to pick up Typing of the Dead so I can kill all the things with my amazing typing skills.
