Injustice headed to the PlayStation 4?

Injustice: Gods among us is a pretty damned good fighting game. right now, it’s available for the current crop of consoles – but we’ve also seen some retailer listings pointing to a Game of the Year versions of the game. That version, according to said listings, will bring Netherrealm’s comic-book brawler to the PlayStation Vita and the PC. It looks like it could be headed to the PlayStation 4 as well.

According to a listing by local online retailer Takealot.com, the game will indeed be headed to Sony’s new console. They say that the game will be shipped out on November 29 this year – which is a little odd, considering that the console itself will only be available locally from December 6th.

A quick check, and it seems that Takealot has a 29 November shipping date for all of its PS4 games. Netherrealm’s Mortal Kombat saw a similar Game of the Year re-release, complete with all the game’s DLC, so a rerelease of the game isn’t particularly surprising.

It being ported to the PlayStation 4 is.

Question: We all know how terrible certain console ports are, so how will a PS3 to PS4 port then work? Will it also be terrible?

Are you implying that the PS4 is a PC?

I’m implying that the architecture is now more like a PC than like a console, hence, wondering if there will be porting issues

It could be. It might look a little better than the PS3 version, but for the price you’re paying for nextgen games, I’d rather stick with my PS3 version.

Now the PS4 and PS3 versions of Battlefield 4 will be interesting, and I’m still undecided whether I’m waiting till the PS4 version launches or whether I’m getting the prev-gen version when it launches. The smart thing to do would be to either get it on PC or PS4, but then I’m a banana.

I’m going to be a very poor and hungry individual come January! But hey, I’ve got some winter fat to burn.

If you were my neighbour I could have let you have the mangoes, litchies and banana’s from my garden for some quality time on your PS4. Sharing is caring and all that.

PS: A friend of mine lent me his PS1 Tekken 2 and he purposefully left the the R680 price-tag on the game.
