Is that the Tick I hear in Tales From The Borderlands?

Not exactly, but it is his live-action counterpart and occasional Brock Samson, Patrick Warburton. There’s a new trailer out for Telltale Games’ Tales From The Borderlands. You can listen to the iconic pipes of Warburton, after the jump.

You know, as much as I dig hearing Warburton in the game, I’m happier that Handsome Jack appears to have some role left to play, post-incredibly-violent-disembowelling-mortem. I’m not the biggest fan of Telltale Games, but that’s because they’re a little bit out of my own comfort zone, and require to do things like pay attention and not shoot at anything that moves on the screen. Other voices include Troy Baker as Rhys, Laura Bailey as Fiona, Chris Hardwick as Vaughn, Erin Yvette as Sasha and Dameon Clarke as Handsome Jack.

But as a massive Borderlands fan, I like what I’m seeing here so far. It is essentially all of the style and character of Borderlands, minus the eternal grind for better guns. And that is something that I can dig. Plus, the animation looks spot-on. The game arrives in the usual Telltale fashion, split up into five episodes that will cost you $4.99 each or with various season passes on many platforms.

Oh I don’t know D, I think you’d love them – there’s plenty of opportunities in Telltale games for you to kill the helpless people who depend on you, just like Tali did. :/

I have been playing Borderlands (1st one) at the moment. Great game! It somehow captures that “one last mission” in an FPS which is rare.

I loved B1 & 2. Spent 100s of hours on both. Also enjoy Telltale games, so I’m really looking forward to this.

Yip Telltale games have been great story driven games. WD1 best of them though, then WAS, then WD2.
