There’s no doubt that we’re going to be seeing new consoles soon. The five year cycle mark has passed, a first for our beloved hardware. And while most of us are more than happy to still play games on our current generation consoles, you can bet your Kinect that Sony and Microsoft are preparing for the future, now that Nintendo has its Wii U scheduled for release, at the end of this year.
So what will said future bring? More motion control, tablet controllers and a lack of second-had game functionality? Perhaps, but according to a Sony paper, their next piece of gaming hardware is going to have enough power underneath its hood, to qualify as a mini-Hadron Collider.
A picture circling the net right now, picked up by Gameranx, points towards a Playstation 4 that is unbelievably crammed full of technology. The powerhouse will reportedly boast 20GBs of RAM, a 3.2GHz cell processor and an Nvidia GPU.

If the paper above is indeed a fake, it’s a pretty damn good one at that, but if it is true, expect a console that could be relevant, long after it’s release.
