In the cut throat world of games development even the mundane press release is turning into a way to get people wound up and talking about stuff around your game, instead of your game.
Serious Sam 3 is the latest title to abuse a poor press release and to be honest it’s easy to see why. The game just isn’t building up the hype it needs and unless we all start paying attention poor Fork Parker’s wife just isn’t going to get that tit job..
Wait.. what?
This is exactly what was in the press release that came out of Developer Digitial’s office recently.
Serious Sam 3 is about pure fun and unfiltered action," said Davor Hunski, chief creative officer of developer Croteam. "We wanted to expand on everything gamers love about the series while adding some genuinely unique new features to really enhance the mayhem Serious Sam is known for.
Yay boring PR stuff, great so far but then
Fork Parker, chief financial officer at Devolver Digital added: "Holy crap, I am going to make a boatload of cash off this game. I mean that’s what this is all about, right? If this thing comes out in the summer my wife is totally getting the tit job she’s been asking for."
When asked for further comment Fork didn’t disappoint by responding
Bam. Tit job
So that’s it then… when you see Serious Sam in the shops make sure you buy a copy so poor Mrs Parker can get that boob job she so desperately wants.
