Is this what Project Natal will look like?

Engadget was attending something by the name of D8 where they were given a public demonstration Microsoft’s upcoming Project Natal. While they weren’t allowed to touch or inspect the device no one seemed to care that they were taking pictures.

There is a sticker on the back saying it’s a ‘Development Sample’ but by all counts this could be exactly what we receive when we buy one in November this year.

and well.. it’s huge isn’t it?

Also what’s this tilting thing about?

    WTF that is huge!

At least all the jokes about the PS Move looking horrible can stop – IMHO this is way worse…

gamers amaze me @ times, like when it comes to peripherals or even the consoles themselves, and in my view illustrates really how childish we can be. i mean does it really matter how the natal looks, really in the bigger sceme of things are we buying it for its aesthetics, or is it not simply a means to something, ie gaming. same goes with move…wii controllers and so forth.i dont give a fruitcake how any looks, or what their names are, it is how they add to the gaming experience that ultimately matters

I think my post was being misunderstood.

The looks of it would never stop me from buying it. Not at all. I was merely trying to point out that the Move has had a lot of flack for ‘being ugly’. That is it.

That monstrous piece of hardware above the xbox will likely make me finally get an xbox.

Waving your arms in front of a screen looks worser…

I don’t think it’s worth investing in the Xbox right now if you have a PS3. The console is almost 5 years old and the tech is aging.

u r rihgt, i misunderstood u, the move was getting a lot of flack for being ugly, and even for its name. i hav both consoles and truth b told i am more eager abt the move than natal, but i just may get it if they solve the technical issues (eg :thelag thing, size of the room) and have a good software support for it
