So we have seen the PS3 leading the 360 in Europe but trailing the Wii, the 360 killing the PS3 in the States and marginally edging out the Wii and now it’s time to check on Japan again.
Well nothing has changed really.
Wii – 24,932
PS3 – 17,130
360 – 3,011
The 360 is still taking a battering and the Wii is still outselling the PS3. I however still hold the opinion that the Japanese market is not as important as it used to be. Those figures pale in comparison to the EU and US figures and the 14k extra PS3 sales in Japan are not going to help Sony overtake Microsoft anytime soon.
