The console war has been raging for years and while it’s never really broken out from being a virtual war it doesn’t mean that we haven’t had some heated battles online about it with many people nursing hurt emotions after some rather bruising battles.
And now it seems that God has had enough and has come down and taken a side in this war to hopefully end it once and for all.
So did he take the Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii’s side?
Well if a lady in Maryland is to be believed he has apparently decided to lay his mark on the Nintendo NES, which granted is easily one of the best consoles of this generation but doesn’t really apply to the current war.
According to Kotaku the unnamed lady from Maryland contacted them after seeing the image in a NES console she had just purchased from eBay and apparently there is no sticky residue or anything of the sort which may imply a previous sticker and the images sent through to Kotaku don’t appear to have been photoshopped either.
What’s even more surprising is that the lady in question isn’t much of a believer in religion and is still on the fence either way so it doesn’t sound like some elaborate prank either.
One things for sure though someone is going to give her a wad of cash to take it off her hands after a piece of toast with the Virgin Mary’s face in it managed to sell for $28,000
So the next time you find yourself in a heated console battle think WWJD and then go pull out that NES and get gaming.
