Sci-Fi / Fantasy writer John Shirley’s freshly penned novel Bioshock: Rapture, obviously based on the video game that we all know and love, is now available for purchase.
As stated on the front cover, Bioshock: Rapture is “The Prequel to the Award-winning and Bestselling Video Game Franchise”. That’s right, the book serves as a prequel to the first game, telling the story of the origins of Rapture’s society and the tale of Andrew Ryan’s quest for his own vision of a Utopian society.
So where can you buy it?
I did a bit of digging around the net, as well as sought the advice from a whole bunch of the community on Twitter and Google+ (thanks guys) and managed to find that the book is available for purchase on the Amazon Store in Hardcover and Paperback for the prices of $17.00 and $9.60 respectively.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it’s available in a digital format at all yet, so anyone locally who wants it will have to wait to see if anyone stocks it locally, or order and wait for delivery.
