Dat Eyeball

If you’re a fan of shooting ALL the things, I have no doubt you’re already happily pewpew-ing away in Killing Floor 2. Find your experience is getting a tad stagnant though? Fear not, new content is on the way – 50% worth according to the developers (how the heck do they even calculate that?). The best part? It’s all free!

If you watched the PC conference at E3, you may have already seen the announcement trailer for the Incinerate ‘n Detonate pack. Here it is again in case you missed it:

There is no shortage of Zeds in sight, as fans and players can expect plenty of regular updates to come in the near future, including the free Incinerate ‘N Detonate content pack which will add 50% more content to game than the initial Early Access launch. KILLING FLOOR 2 players can also be rest-assured that their stats from Early Access will not be reset.

What was absent during the reveal however, was actual details on what this new content pack would entail. Tripwire Interactive have now detailed everything you need to know over on the Killing Floor 2 blog (via PC Gamer).

For starters, there are two new perks:

Firebug

BBQer extraordinaire, lover of everything that burns. Known tools of the trade:

Tier 1 – Caulk n’ Burn: Get close, get personal, burn its face off
Tier 2 – Trench Gun: Incendiary rounds make for a fiery start (and end) to most zeds
Tier 3 – Flamethrower: The classic burn baby burn
Grenade – Molotov : Area denial and bon party starter.

Demolitions

If overwhelming firepower isn’t working, you aren’t using enough. Known tools of the trade:

Tier 2 – C4
Tier 4 – RPG 7

C4

Along with these two new perks will be some brand new maps.  Tripwire have only shared information on one for now:

Evacuation Point

The site of a Danish last stand as people rushed to escape to sea to avoid a painful death against the incoming zed hoard:

And that’s it – a bunch of new content for you to enjoy in the near future! I should really look at getting Killing Floor 2 for myself. It looks like it makes for some nice mindless shooting action – something I know I enjoy (every now and then at least).
