The internet is drooling all over this but to be honest, I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
A scan from the latest issue of Game Informer shows a Killzone 2 preview, with the game marked as PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Let me explain what’s going to happen now.
Xbox 360 fanboys will (and already are if you read some of the comments on the net) trying to be spiteful douchebags and are trying to laugh as hard as possible at the PS3 fanboys for losing another exclusive.
PS3 fanboys are pointing out the fact that the chance of this actually happening is pretty much 0, although you can tell that there is still a hint of nervousness in them, probably due to the news about Final Fantasy that is still stinging a bit.
Wii fanboys are all eating sandwiches somewhere, wondering when the next Zelda is coming.
The layout artist for Game Informer as well as the editor are going to probably get a mighty slap on the wrist for this one and may have to issue an apology ASAP.
Either that or the game is actually coming to all platforms, what with hell freezing over and all. Oh yes and the fact that Sony actually own Guerilla Games.
The chances of this happening are roughly the same as Gears of War 2 or Halo 3 going to the PS3, it’s just not happening people.

I dont have a ps3. I have an xbox 360 60gb. The fact that he posts this on his site is just making this worse. If everyone just ignores this type of bs then it goes away but people like lazygamer post this crap. On N4G its the no.1 article atm. If everyone ignored the typo we wouldn’t have this obviously false article. Just because some idiots think something stupid doesn’t mean that lazygamer should post it. If you look at N4G now they also removed the story…seems I’m not the only one who feels that way. So anyone who doubted me you can suck it. @nick if casual joe didnt read the article in the first place he would still be under the impression that its a ps3 only game (which would be the right impression).

It doesnt matter because the news is already out these, that being the reason why I was clarifying the false news.
You may also want to know that news does not stay up on N4G forever, it is very likely that it has hit its timelimit and been pulled down. That is why you wont see the same article in 1st place for two days in a row.

If you look at the article now it says that it failed approval. I understand why people report on this stuff but it is on of my little peeves.Its the reason we get articles on what cliffy b (or whatever he calls himself now) thinks about triple layer toilet paper. Just report it as a typo and NOTHING more. My first post clearly stated why it cant be true. If it cant be true then its a typo. But nobody reports it as just a typo. They try get as many hits on their site as possible by using ambigious titles for the article. Sure lazygamer wasn’t too bad but he still keeps the ball rolling. Sony will probably force them to make amends next issue. Sorry guys if I believe in journalistic integrity…gaming sites are going to read like “Die Son” if thing keep going the way they are.

Its a pity. What with the only realy way to play a FPS is on with a keyboard and mouse. I would even buy a PS3 to play this game if they allowed me to use a keyboard and mouse in game.
It most likely won’t be coming out for anything for a while, until sony gets their cut. But look at HALO and Gears of War. Those were both xbox exclusives at the time, and they came out for PC a year later. We will probably just have to wait, thats all.

Sony may want aome extra money since the states aren’t doing to well. I would sell the game on XBOX 360 as well for the extra cash. Its a Sony operated company, they make more money on its release when the 360 fans pay there dollars for a copy. Think about it.

I think Killzone and Killzone 2 SHOULD have been on the Xbox, as most hardcore gamers play on the Xbox 360. Also, Xbox 360 is much more of a shooter-focused console and playstation 3 is more of a console for boring driving games and RPG games. I was anticipating Killzone 2 ever since 5th grade, about 6 years ago, and was dissapointed when the game came out for the over-priced Playstation 3. Gamers deserve to burn their horrible nub-loving call of duty modern warfare games so they can play an actual game of skill
