The Playstation Blog has just revealed the box art of the highly anticipated Killzone 2 for Playstation 3. Judging for the torrent of comments saying how great it is, I assume people really like it.
I think its really, well, dull. I thought it could have been more adventurous or interesting than simply slapping a picture of a Helghast soldier on the front. And it looks too similar to the Helghast soldier slapped on the front of Killzone 1.
Come on Sony, this is supposed to be the game to get next year for PS3. The cover art falls into the generic aggression category of art, which is such a pity.

Kinda looks like Fallout 3’s cover, except it not being a Super Mutant. Not really impressed with this cover.

That is the US cover btw , the Euro one should be different , but i dont care for covers as long as the game is ace.

From a design stand point its not the greatest but I can see where they were coming from. This image has already been plastered all over the net a million times, its a very recognisable image. When people see the box in store, it triggers the memory and gives it more buying power.

Lazy look, the one in the link is the European box art. That means SA will be getting that box art.
The box art in this article is the US box art.
