Remember Lara Croft? She is that British betty that starred in a series of games that revolved around her magnificent ass skills as a fearless explorer.

Her massive breasts unique abilities are in your hands once more as she makes a return in her first self-titled isometric co-operative title, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. While the game has already been out on Xbox Live Arcade for a while now, it is now officially available for download on both the Playstation Network as well as Steam.

Check out the launch trailer as well as more info about pricing online co-operative update after the jump.

Even though the XBLA version of the game has been out for a while, it still hasn’t gotten its title update that adds online co-operative play to its list of features, and its a real sore point at the moment.

The XBLA update is all but ready to be released but any hopes of the Steam and PSN versions launching with the online co-operative modes were shot down with the developers stating that they need to “take more time to make sure the mode is as good as possible”.

If you didn’t already know, the game is drastically different from the Tomb Raider games and I have absolutely loved every single second of it and I know that almost all of you will too.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is priced at $15.00 (just over R100) and you can go and get it right now.

  1. Played this on XBLA and enjoyed it thoroughly. Reminded me of diablo a bit.

This might be a stupid question – I had a look this morning and it wasn’t available – what time is the playstation store normally updated?
