Lara has come a long way since her PC/PS1 debut so let’s take a look at the character model evolution of Lara Croft. I noticed yesterday a lot of people seemed to be “interested” in the new Lara, but what follows may just surprise you. Could it be that Eidos are slowly making Lara’s breasts smaller – Looks like it to me, hit the jump for the proof in the only graphics comparison that really matters.
Tomb Raider – It’s no wonder Tomb raider held the appeal of most male gamers back when it released, there’s nothing natural about these at all.
Tomb Raider 2 – The downhill slope begins.
Tomb Raider 3 – A good step forward from the sand bags in Tomb raider 2 and larger than Tomb Raider 1.
Tomb Raider 4 – Whoa! What happened? Those um… don’t really look right but beyond that her back must be killing her.
Tomb Raider 5 – The reduction begins, Smaller than Tomb Raider 4, and more solid looking.
Tomb Raider Angle of Darkness – Once again smaller, and the sand bag effect is all but gone.
Tomb Raider Legend – Lara must be wearing one hardcore sports bra.
Tomb Raider Underworld – The most believable Lara so far, maybe Eidos knows what men really want?

This story is actually pretty damn interesting in terms of developer choices. Looking at the breast shapes from Tomb Raider 4 + 5 you really have to ask yourself what in the hell they were thinking. And now that gaming is maturing in the world, characters like Lara Croft are maturing along with it.

Wow can’t believe the change, was actually very impressed with them in Legend 😀 were more natural in every aspect ;-). Though the ones in underworld are really good :-D.
Just useless info Tomb Raider was actually launched Saturn, PC and then PS 1.

lol… you know guys Lara Croft is a character in a game called Tomb Raider… you run and jump and do all sorts of acrobatic maneuvers and solve level puzzles to reveal treasures (not the pink fluffy kind) 😛
