Did you know that if you’re not excited for the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword then you’ve successfully been brainwashed by the western gaming companies and are missing out on something as addictive and fantastic as the Mario Bros series.
Unfortunately the majority of South Africans don’t know who or what Zelda is and as such won’t be experiencing one of the best gaming titles this holiday season.
I’d love to lean back on my gold encrusted chair now and smugly smile to myself at your lunacy but… I wasn’t brought up on Zelda either. I’ve happily been giving it a skip my entire life and it’s only now that I feel I’ve missed out on something massive.
I’m seeing comments around the Internet about how Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the single biggest reason to own a Wii console. The game is rumoured to be receiving perfect review scores across the board and is lining itself up against Skyrim as a possible Game of the Year candidate.
So if like me you don’t really know much about Zelda then don’t feel that bad but make sure you at least read the reviews when they are released and make up your mind then whether you want to stay ignorant to this series or not.
