This year in its entirety has been filled to the brim with incredible, genre defining games. It makes it hard – even unfair – to single one out as the best, but that’s what we do here. And that’s what awards shows are all about. And with the annual (and really entertaining) instalment of The Game Awards, Zelda snubbed out the rest to take the top honour. Breath of the Wild took home Game of the Year, but it was a varied awards show with multiple wins for Hellblade, Cuphead and Wolfenstein 2.

Resident Evil took best VR. Man now I’m even happier with my impulse purchase of it earlier today… Not gonna sleep at all this weekend, whether I want to or not. 😛

The only award that is egregiously incorrect is the eSports player that is obviously Ryujehong but I see you guys incorrectly listed it as someone else?
