The video’s and news about Assassin’s Creed 4 just keeps on coming and it’s becoming very obvious that this title is a seriously big deal for Ubisoft this year.
The latest gameplay trailer, called Under the Black Flag, pushes us into the mind of our assassin and gives us some insight into why the pirates life is the life for him and what the purpose of the game is.
We also get to see the usual amount of stabbing. jumping, running and some deep sea swimming. But if you’ve played Far Cry 3 then you know that swimming in the ocean is dangerous and normally ends with you being eaten by a shark.
Assassin’s Creed 4 is landing on the 1st of November on pretty much every single platform. The only one we need visual confirmation of now is the next Xbox, but Ubisoft has already confirmed it will be released on that platform as well.

Preorder now to get single missions and in game content or pay extra for it as a DLC later. Although I must say the black flag if big enough can be modified as a COD Ghost mask to impress your friends with.

Ok. I’m a little confused. It is clear that they are spending loads on marketing, which is great and all but…. didn’t they also say that they don’t expect as many sales on this one as the last?
I am trying to figure out why they would throw more money towards the new release when they expect less sales. Less sales means less profit which means combined with the loads of marketing the game is sure to disappoint investors correct?
