Radio

I like to make fun of Sandy’s weekly unradio show. Of course, I knew one day it would come back to bite me. With Sandra Dee away on some top secret gaming travel, I’ve been asked to fill in for him. So, do that thing where you listen and make me seem really awesome and popular.

First of all, you can listen right here:

You can also call into the studio at: 0861 555 189 or get in touch via WeChat. I will also have my twitter open, so you can feel free to tweet me if you prefer. I know you’re all a bunch of trolls, and it’s more than welcome.

The topics for today will be the Xbox One launch (at last), some upcoming games that look awesome (just so I can gush about Dragon Age, Shadow of Mordor and The Witcher 3) as well as all the drama surrounding Destiny. Oh, and we might through in some random stuff for the WTF element of the show.

Do you guys listen to Cliff Central? Do you want us to do more audio content or are you happy with the uptick in video content thanks to Darryn’s awesomeness? I keep contemplating pushing for us to have a podcast and stuff, but I just wonder if any of you guys would like to hear us talk about stuff or if you just prefer reading our words and seeing our funny faces on video. What are your preferences? I can’t guarantee that we can meet your demands, but we could certainly have fun trying.

I’m just teasing. I know Dota isn’t meant for casuals. It’s serious business. Do they at least check players game time during matchmaking before dropping a greenhorn in with the veterans?

No worries – me too. Yes the game tries to match players up but it is obviously not always possible. If someone brand new joins a 5v5 game and have not played vs Bots or the Tutorial yet, he WILL get flamed and hate the game (And deserve it TBH) as you are messing with other player’s win-streaks etc. The tutorials are good in my opinion. There are also many game modes, some not so serious where you will find uhmmm..lover skilled players…

hehe lover skilled players, so not just for virgins? I played the tutorial before I started playing but tbh I will probably have to go through it again, even though I have the gist of the game.

haha – typo of note…Or just party up with some “patient” mates.. The coach function is brilliant to get newer players started. Good luck out there…Ask @hairyknees:disqus to coach you lol….

Dammit missed it, I will like a LG podcast. Especially if it is general gaming, light-hearted fun and you guys get drunk during the show.

My gaming podcast void has never been filled since the demise of 1UpYours.

        JAAAAA!!!

Will create a more jolly informal atmosphere; my biggest complaint of current gaming podcasts they are all very high school book report vibe; no real conversation or debate/disagreement.

I think a Lazygamer podcast talking about new games, gaming news, funny comments, maybe get a guest on like somebody from the industry or a regular in the comment section. Get a sound board.

Please no Portuguese virgins debating DOTA tactics for an hour.

I refuse to listen to anything linked to or affiliated with Gareth Cliff.

I will however happily listen to any podcasts that are exclusive “Lazy Gamer”. Bring on the weekly “Lazy Casts” and I’ll be in the front of the queue waiting for it. 😉
