So the pricing for Windows Live! has been announced and it is exactly the same as Xbox Live! pricing… Any suprise there?

Your Xbox Gold Account will work on Vista which is also a good thing, however no one really knows that the Windows Live! accounts are for yet apart from ShadowRun cross platform multiplayer games…

I am sure Microsoft will let us know soon why we now have to pay for mutliplayer PC gaming though….

Microsoft revealed yesterday the pricing for Live for Windows, the Vista equivalent to Xbox Live. The pricing plan is identical to Xbox Live: a Silver membership will be free and Gold will cost you either $8 for one month, $20 for three months or $50 for a full year, according to Game Informer
