Live Kinect Launch Webcam

So do you want to be in Times Square for the Kinect launch but instead you are stuck at home or at work?

Well never fear because we have exactly the same problem thanks to some strange decision in the local arena.

However we have found something not nearly as good but still pretty cool, after the jump are two live webcams mounted in Time Square which at least helps us understand the vast amount of advertising that Microsoft has pumped into Kinect.

I just saw a trailer on the bottom webcam of Jack Black doing something with Kinect, is there a celebrity that they haven’t signed up?

Hilarious look at Sony’s TV constantly reaplaying MOVE commercials priceless. Keep up the god work Sony NOT.

It’s nice to see these people are loyal and willing to camp out for Kinect. I just have one question, what the hell are you going to play with it

Dance Central…. and I am going to play Joyride against the kids.. that was fun 🙂

Also Ubisoft Fitness Evolved is a must have apparently.. the wife has made demands… and I am worried but intrigued about Kinect Adventures to play as a family.

For me as a core gamer.. nothing appeals

Exactly, so if you already have a WII then there’s no point, Sadly for all the people buying this it looks like just a bunch of cheap shovelware

Did Microsoft finally run out of money? I don’t see the adverts anymore.

More likely they aren’t wasting the money by advertising hugely at 3am.. we’ll see if it starts up again in a few hours

Kinect will be popular for a few days until Black Ops lands.

As for roping in celebrities, half a billion dollars spent on advertising goes a long way.

Odd, that an Activision title would bring balance to the force.

Heck it must have cost a lot to put ads that large up in Times Square.
