Some sad news this morning, one of the best gamercard generator sites on the internet has suddenly shut down.
Livecard.net stopped serving up the gamercards in the early morning and now their homepage has been replaced by quite a somber message.
Over the past few months we have spoken to dozens of data centers to fix our speed issues, we were even ready to build a new beasty server but the costs for the bandwidth we require is a tad beyond what we are willing to pay out and the service in it’s current state is useless… so we’re saying goodbye.
It’s never a happy sight seeing community sites go down and it’s a real pity that more businesses don’t sponsor and advertise on these sites.
So if you were using a Livecard.net gamer card you will notice it has been replaced by the above message.

“It’s never a happy site seeing ….” ahem..
It’s never a happy SIGHT…” 🙂
Anyway bad news, I loved the cards those people came up with. I hope they can find a way to come back soon.

Are there any similar sites where you can design your own card from scratch?
