Look how wonderfully brutal the Alien is in Mortal Kombat X

Alien

The Xenomorph. A relentless and perfect killing machine. Absolute in its nature to survive at all costs as it utilises an entire arsenal of nightmare fuel phallic attacks to incapacitate its prey and introduce them to the worst face-hug in the history of cinema. All that, and I typed those opening sentences in the voice of Werner Herzog.

The infamous Alien is finally coming to Mortal Kombat X, but it won’t be delivering the double-kiss of death in a form that you’re accustomed to. This particular Xenomorph got nasty with one of Outworld’s Tarkatan members, the race that Baraka happens to be a member of. Sexual badness aside, the Mortal Kombat X Xenomorph looks perfect for the latest iteration of the fighting game. Here’s some of its Geiger-esque brutality in action:

Konjurer

Why fight alone? With Konjurer, the Xenomorph can call in assistance from the various chestburster hordes, such as a Facehugger to stun an opponent or a drone to drop down from on high on your enemies. Combine that drone with an EX push, and you can pop them up for a follow-through combo as well. The Konjurer variation is all about setting up traps, so leaving the Alien alone long enough could spell doom if you don’t rush it down and lay into it with some pressure.

Tarkatan

Essentially Baraka in its nature, Tarkatan keeps the action up close and personal with the arm-blades and various high-damage slash attacks. The Alien can make use of Baraka’s trademark shredder attack, forward lunges and overhead projectile attacks. Think of this as the true Mortal Kombat X version of the Alien.

Acidic

All that highly-pressurised blood which makes the Xenomorph a nightmare to actually kill? Now you can make use of it in Mortal Kombat X. Acidic gives the Xenomorph ground and air keep-away options with quick and high-damage projectiles. It can also throw down a pool of blood to trap players in, making for a very tricky character that specialises in environment takedowns.

Hectic. Naturally, there’s some gory Fatalities and Brutalities that come with the package, in case you want to set up the ultimate Aliens Vs. Predator grudge match.
