Not a spelling error, it's a whatchamacallit...*runs

How does one get better at playing games? Personally, I’ve found out that holding a gun to the head of a puppy works wonders for young, impressionable children, when their parents hire me to mould their young ones into a lean, mean, fighting game machine. But I’m in enough trouble with the SPCA already, so I might have to settle on a different form of torture encouragement to help train future gamers, such as this bright spark contraption.

The two French modders in the video above came up with the following contraption, which they attached to a Sega Megadrive and challenging games such as Sonic The Hedgehog and Golden Axe 3.

You see, whenever you die in one of those games, you get a shock to the system, literally. A modified shock collar, usually used for disobedient dogs and at that dodgy club located in a seedy avenue for adventurous businessmen, is attached to the console and game, zapping you whenever you die.

For the truly diabolical experience though, the duo went and modified Battletoads for the system as well. Y’know, the old-school game that happens to be impossibly difficult and has a level that was designed by Satan himself? With the amount of shocks that game is going to send out, don’t be too surprised if you see the French power grid waning every couple of seconds thanks to it.
