LucasArts have been exploiting making excellent use of their rich back-catalogue of late, porting old favourites to just about about every platform imaginable – as well as creating new games based on classic IP’s. When asked about the possibility of a revival of their beloved X-Wing and TIE fighter space-shooters in a recent interview with G4, LucasArts President Danny Rodriguez coyly teased that “We don’t have any announcements now, but stay tuned,We will soon.”
Could this signal a return to the glory days of space-sims? I bloody well hope so. Whether it be an XBLA or PSN remake, or a brand new game, I don’t care. PLEASE [insert deity of choice], MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

What’s the point of being pink if you are invisible?
This game neeeeeds to happen though. X-Wing Alliance is still sitting right next to me in my drawer here.

“Invisible Pink Unicorns are beings of great spiritual power. We know this because they are capable of being invisible and pink at the same time. Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can’t see them.”

And while they’re at it they should bring back Wing Commander (That crap they released on XBLA was not wing commander) and Freelancer as well.
