Oh noes! More delays.
Take Two have announced that two of their big upcoming titles, namely Red Dead Redemption and Mafia II have been pushed to it’s next Fiscal Year, which begins on November 1.
This may actually mean that we may only see them in 2010. More after the jump.
While it seems logical that publishers want to get their big titles on the shelves for the christmas season, many have actually started to realise that going up against behemoths like Modern Warfare 2 is usually not such a great idea.
Take Two have said that the reason the dates have been pushed back is because they want to allow more time for development “to maximize their full potential in terms of the quality of the player experience and market performance.”
I guess that in the end, it’s a good thing for us, because it hopefully means that the games will come out feeling polished and without bugs.
I am really looking forward to Mafia II, so any sort of delay is a mild stab into my heart, but if it means I am going to get an even better game, I am all for it.

Its not a good thing, going be in the same position as last year with 5 or more great titles to get, but only enough cash for 1 or 2

being delayed is a good then surely? you’ve got 7+ months to save… R100 a month and you got just about enough.
