There’s only one true Batman actor. and that’s Michael Keaton. And Val Kilmer. And Adam West. Okay, bad example, but when it comes to voicing the dark knight, fans are usually unanimously in agreement over the iconic vocal pipes of their favourite dark knight detective. And that voice will be joined by a few others in Arkham Knight.
I am of course, talking about legendary Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy, whose portrayal of the caped crusader has always had a more mature and baritone audio quality to it, instead of sounding like a lunatic who gargles with battery acid and cigarettes every morning. Conroy is joined by Fringe actor John Noble, who voices the Scarecrow and some chap by the name of Jonathan Banks who voices commissioner Gordon. Apparently he was in some show called Breaking Bad, which is a big deal or something. I don’t know, I never watched it. Yes, I’m also a villain.

Other voices in the game include Twilight’s Ashley Greene as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, Scott Porter from Friday Night Lights as Nightwing, Tara Strong as Harley Quinn, Nolan North as Penguin and presumably half of the thugs in Gotham, with Troy Baker presumably playing the other half of the thugs and Two-Face. I did apply to take over from Kevin Conroy for whichever Arkham game Warner Bros cranks out next, but all they did was laugh in my face and offer me a spot as Bat-Mite in the reboot that I’m supposed to be quiet about…
