Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes dated,Raiden DLC revealed

Get your 2014 calendars out and circle March 18, because Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes finally has a date. Plus a bunch of new info sneaked in as well.

The PS4,PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 game will arrive with a little something extra for Xbox One gamers, in the form of some exclusive Raiden DLC, where the cyborg ninja has to face some body-snatchers in the Jamais Vu mission according to Xbox Wire.

Man, if Metal Gear Rising pissed MGS fanboys off despite it clearly labelling itself as a spin-off, then this bit of DLC is going to drive them up the wall. No word yet on whether this mission is a timed exclusive or not, but don’t expect to run around a Cuban missile base on a Sony platform anytime soon.

In addition to that, another new trailer showed off the first mission of Ground Zeroes, and how the game is structured. Players can choose to play on either normal or hard difficulty modes, with enemy AI switching accordingly between the two.

The game is looking pretty slick so far, and Big Boss help me, a Metal Gear Solid that I’m actually keen on experiencing for once, something that I haven’t felt since the MGS title launched back in the dark ages of seedy rohms.

Before you know it, you are busy running through it a second time with all your awesome cyborg ninja powers in tact, slicing through enemies like a knife through hot butter…good times.
