Black Friday, if you didn’t know, is the biggest shopping day of the year over in the States. It’s they day that people leave their brains at the door and run riot through the shops trying to get the best bargains for Christmas.
It is also a very nice indicator on how the silly season will progress and this year it seems like Microsoft has struck the first blow by releasing a press release stating that they have outsold the PS3 by a margin of 3:1, are enjoying a 25% increase in sales over last year and now have an 8:1 software attachment rate.
It becomes quite obvious that Microsoft are now aiming at Sony and are no longer afraid of going head to head with the black beheamouth.Â
However I see no mention of the Wii in this press release… Full release after the jump.
