Microsoft have today just announced that they are going to be pushing their E3 Keynote to five minutes earlier.

The reason that they have given is that they have included some sort of last minute ‘surprize’. Now, 5 minutes isn’t a lot of time, but is usually more than enough to make a big announcement or show something off.

Is this surprize going to be something special, or are Microsoft going to announce something indescribably lame but are just pulling an attempt to hype up their speech.

The Keynote will be streamed on the internet Live at 18:25 local time, so if you can, and have the bandwidth, you can check it out.

If not, the fear not, because we will have full reports up for you tomorrow!

Grab a PS3…? Would it be a big splash if they did announce that, though? I mean it came out nearly a year ago. Would it shatter the world if it was MGS 4? I know I’m being insensitive to those who neither have a PS3 nor have intentions of getting it for that one game but a year on is a 360 MGS4 still a big deal?

Or, at least, a big enough deal that they’d tease out an extra 5 minutes for it?

I think for MS it would be a big deal, I think they always want to show that they can get a hold of PS exclusives, like with FF last year.

As for Sony, I wouldn’t say it was a big deal, the game has run it’s course and done it’s job for their console, so I don’t think that it would hurt them much.

seems a bit daft announcing something ‘big’ five minutes before you supposed to sum up forth coming attractions.

it’s… wait for it… MGS4 with exclusive DLC that MS paid $50mil for!

MGS jokes aside, i do think that Sony lost another exclusive, I just don’t know if it’s MGS. Either another exclusive is now multiplat, or a multiplat is now 360 exclusive (maybe Tekken 6?)

    I highly doubt that GT5 is a multi-plat.

I think 5 minutes is more than enough to psych up the crowed if it was announced. I almost bought my self a PS3 countless times.. But it just didnt seem like it would get any games at that time.. Exclusiveley i mean

And plus just because its a year old doesnt make it a crappier game ,then what it was when it was released…

Think of it this way… It gives a wider audiances a chance to play what so few (4 million)have played in the past year…
