Motorstorm Apocalypse delayed in multiple countries

According to various reports Motorstorm Apocalypse has now officially been delayed in the United Kingdom, Europe, Japan and New Zealand.

Though not because the game hasn’t been completed but rather because the game is based in a city that has been ravaged by and earthquake and with what’s just happened in New Zealand and Japan Sony feels the timing would be disrespectful to release the game now.

It’s refreshing to see a company think more about people than it does about it’s bottom line and while we all want to get our hands on Motorstorm Apocalypse I think we’ll be able to hold out just that little bit longer out of respect for those who have died or are injured.

There hasn’t been any confirmation of a delay locally or in the US yet but it would be odd for Sony to allow it to release in some countries and not others so expect that announcement any day now.
