Murdered: Soul Suspect heads to Xbox One

One game that I’m eagerly anticipating, has to be Murdered: Soul Suspect. It’s less action, more mystery and the entire hook about solving your own death and navigating through the dangers of limbo has my attention. It’s earmarked for PC and current-gen systems at the moment. And now, Xbox One as well.

Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb revealed the news on the latest Xbox Wire video, which I embedded below for you because I’m such a nice guy.

No word yet on whether this game will release in time with the Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 versions. A PlayStation 4 version isn’t out of the running either. A while back, Geimaku was told by a Square Enix representative that such a port was also going to be released in the near future.

Plus if this game was exclusive to one new-gen platform, you could bet your fedora that Microsoft wouldn’t shut up about that kind of exclusivity deal. In addition to all that news, the box art for the game was also revealed. Check it out chaps:

Murdered Soul Suspect

I really do recommend giving Murdered: Soul Suspect a look. There’s something about it that I do quite dig, and the E3 build was solid and impressive. Plus it’s creepy as hell, as being a ghost doesn’t mean that you’re safe at all. And I may have just dug out my dusty detective fedora hat and CD-Roms for the 1997 game version of Blade Runner, so I’m probably on a detective kick right now.

It is an interesting concept I just really hope it doesn’t go the way Beyond Two Souls did…

That old Blade Runner was epic. It was one of the first games my dad bought for me for our PC.
Too bad I was too much of a dumbass to get past the first couple of stages unassisted 😉
That was a Westwood game, right?

Have a virtual upvote, Dazza, for mentioning the epic awesomeness that was “Blade Runner” on CD-ROM… Damn, I miss that game! So amazing!
