I love these video comparisons, the latest game receiving the treatment is NBA 2008. This is the same game that has been slammed by the reviewers.
In the beginning of this video I thought the PS3 version looked better but as the video goes the 360 version claws back. Obviously it is hard to tell when we are looking at these web videos but I was looking more for the adaptive lighting and non key players reactions and the like.
From what I can see you should buy whichever one is cheaper as they look identical in the end.

ps3 front row, bench, and fans all look better.
much more crisp and defined textures than 360.
skin tones on ps3 also look a tad bit better.
the rest is pretty equal.
basically: buy it for your favorite system.
no reason to buy it for one or the other, really…
