Toys these days pretty much come in a variety of standard sizes. From your humble six inch figure to your high-end collectibles at double that height, figures today reliably end up between those two sizes.
But not the Batman. No sirree, this Batman replica is a proper quarter scale dark knight, who’ll crush any crime in your collection thanks to his staggering height of 18 inches. That’s around 45cm, in a unit of measurement that isn’t rubbish. Check it:
Here’s the official description from NECA about this figure:
From the most successful Batman video game series ever!
This impressive action figure is based on the Dark Knight’s appearance in the upcoming Arkham Knight, the final chapter in the acclaimed video game series. The figure stands over 18? tall and features incredible detail that’s entirely accurate to the in-game model.
Batman features over 25 points of articulation and includes Batarang and grapnel gun accessories, multiple interchangeable hands and a soft fabric cape. Window box packaging.
NECA also released a similar size figure way back for Batman: Arkham Oranges. I’m hoping to get my hands on this figure, and using it to concoct my ultimate fantasy fight: Batman and various Jaegers Vs. Pacific Rim’s Kaiju and Godzilla. Also, somebody make a movie about this idea already.

The Steam user rating for Arkham Knight is currently sitting at 30%
That refund function is probably really being appreciated now.

30%? Ouch. That’s absolutely got to hurt.
You know what I can’t understand though? They got it right for the previous titles. Same engine just slightly tweaked each time… How in the world did they fluff the PC version so badly this time?

I’m still waiting for the best part – where they blame the PC gamers for it. You know it’s coming.

You might be on to something there.

I actually just think they didn’t care enough to bother. Sadly. Because all the other titles were great.

The statue is massive. So is the poor performance on PC

Haha.
There are very few “AAA” companies I would still consider pre-ordering from. WB used to be one of them. Not anymore.

The actual answer should be none. If people everywhere would stop pre-ordering from companies that continiously stuff up launches we would have a very different gaming scene

That’s true. And I agree.
But I’m so happy with my Witcher 3 pre-order that I have faith that there are still some companies that care about their customers.

But that’s voting with your wallet. CDPR proved themselves with W1 and W2 so W3 was a fairly safe bet.
If we would support only those that prove themselves over and over, it would go a long way. But nooooooo. People will still pre-order EA online but not in the first week every single freaking time

Yes. Absolutely true.
People get overly emotional about their purchases and end up supporting companies simply because of what they’re selling, not whether it’s any good.
