Xbox South Africa has just listed a bunch of new (and old) screenshots up on their facebook page.
But for those of you who prefer a nicer gallery system or can’t connect to Facebook from the office I have inserted them all below.
Everytime I see fable screenshots the first word that comes into my head is ‘Epic’… It’s not really my sort of a game but I wish it were, it looks awesome.

Same old Fable with new graphics *sigh*
I notice Molyneux hasn’t hyped this incarnation to the degree of the second one this time.

That might be a good thing Mr Bridge. The Fable games have always been a fairly mediocre, with mere glimpses of being inspired. They’re OK for what they are. Whenever Molyneux hyped the previous games, it increased expectations far beyond what the games can deliver, which resulted in very disappointed and angry gamers. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lionhead or even Microsoft muzzled Peter.
Having said that, I love the setting of Fable 3, and that’s in part because while I was growing up, I loved three things, Dinosaurs, Knights and Musketeers. Alexandre Dumas’s books helped too during those stormy angst filled teenage years, so how can you not love the age of the Musket?

Got my pre order in. The second game had a bit of an anti climax and was a bit too easy but im hoping this new sequel will be less casual friendly than the second.
I hope it lives up to my hype for it because it certainly is a really charming world Lionhead have created and probably the last Fable game that wont have gimmicks like Kinect included in it to ruin the gameplay for me.

Fable 2’s ending was just terrible (definitely one of the more disappointing endings to a game). I wonder if 3 will even acknowledge that whatsisname is out there somewhere.
I haven’t really followed much of the buzz about Fable 3, so I really don’t know anything about the gameplay for this one, but I sincerely hope they up the difficulty a bit, because the one button nonsense just ruined Fable 2 for me.
I WANT OPTIONS LIONHEAD!! I’M NOT 4!! YOU DON’T HAVE TO DUMB THINGS DOWN FOR ME!
