Hey! Remember that ludicrously expensive Fallout 4 Collector’s Edition that came with a Pip Boy replica? It disappointed legions of fans when it was released, and was really little more than a bit of painted PVC piping that you shoved your phone in to.
The people who bought that are probably kicking themselves because now there’s a better, shinier Pip boy – though it’s even more ludicrously expensive. Though the last one was essentially a phone mount that you shoved on your arm, this new Pip Boy actually has its own screen, and communicates with your phone via Bluetooth.

Had to buy a cheap phone for my damn pip-boy cause my other phone did not fit.
Used it for all of 10 minutes before I switched to my tab.

I’ve used the pip-boy app on my phone a whole 3 times in over 65 hours of play… why would I pay to get this thing and never use that either?
