Lazygamer has obtained confirmation that a live action Street Fighter short is currently in the works.

Thanks to our South African Lazygamer roots, we have bagged an exclusive interview with local talent DeVille Vannik who is currently working on a new project that is being pitched to Capcom as a new direction for the live action Street Fighter series. DeVille Vannik was chosen for the role of Ken Masters.

We have a full interview, which will be up shortly as well, but for now you can hit the jump for more details.

DeVille Vannik is a South African actor, model, martial artist as well as a practitioner of Capoeira and Parkour.

A quick look at his photos and it’s not hard to see that he definitely looks the part as well. Just in case you were wondering though, he is more than just a pretty face. As mentioned before he is quite the active type and is skilled in quite a few fields, including Capoeira and Parkour.

Below we have a video that was created as a demo of his active abilities, and it’s pretty impressive so check it out and see our new Ken Masters dart around as if he was cast as Ezio in an Assassin’s Creed movie.

More info about DeVille can be found at his website here but keep a look out for our full interview with more Street Fighter details soon.
