New Xbox 360 Dashboard lands today

With the Kinect being released in the States tomorrow this isn’t really much of a surprise.

But it’s official the new Xbox 360 Dashboard is being released today, the 1st of November.

Mine’s busy downloading at the moment but I’ve been part of the beta for the past month and if you want to hear about it you can check the quick write up over here.

In essence not that much has changed and it’s nothing to rush home for but the newly improved parental controls are great and in America they get ESPN which is pretty cool.

I think you need to give it some time. I would guess it would be available in the afternoon.

Is there some way to get the update if your 360 isn’t connected to the net?

Hang on, is Zune Pass part of Gold subscription or is it an additional monthly sub? Because if the latter is true… FUUUUUCCKK Microsoft FUUUUUCCKKK! :getlost:

You’ll be able to do the same, it just takes a little while for the update to become available over the web. Keep an eye out here : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=d7b1a7d8-846b-4ff4-8810-25356ec2c2aa

If I was up to date on the preview builds of the new dash, will I get an update? I only was not logged in once when I tried earlier.
