Who doesn’t love zombies? Everybody! Xbox show off their new take on a popular franchise, that of Dead Rising.
First off, this game looks downright intense. Its crazy to think just how far zombie games have gone in terms of scale as well as features. The open world is packed chock a block with hundreds of enemies, but fear not, there are hundreds of weapons at your disposal! You can also make various combinations of tools, making some pretty imaginative ways in which to dispose of the dead.
Driving makes an appearance, and is integral to travelling to key points as well as scavenging of new areas. In the demonstration, we see the protagonist driving through herds of the undead, mowing them down. Seems safe enough right? Its not! En route he is nearly yanked out of the window by a clutching zombie, but manages to hang onto the steering wheel.
As a zombie lover, this game looks great. Open world seems to be quite the focus in the next generation of games, and Dead Rising looks like it will provide an awesome setting for some zombie destruction.
