We bought at a time when people were unsure of the area. The guy next to me just sold his house two weeks ago for 40% more. Over a 3 year period. It’s getting insane how the prices are going up.

When you buy in a new complex you never know what’ll happen. There’s the one complex near me that sold out very quickly, fast forward a year & it’s one of the biggest hot spots for drugs & prostitution.

I think the positioning of the one I live in played in my favour.
For instance: with my wife in the clinic for so long it also made things so easy with it nearly right across the street. People pay a lot of money for convenience.

She was released from the clinic on Monday. So much better now. Had to have open chest surgery, so she’s still very fragile, but she’s home. So we’re both happy.
