Hamill-Himself

One of my dreams, of which I have many twisted ones that formed the basis for Twin Peaks, is the ultimate room. Now, don’t call it a man-cave because that’s worse than using the word “moist” in polite conversation, but I’ve often dreamed of having that one room to fill with as much materialism as possible. Consoles as far as the eye can see. My batsuits properly displayed. A button to push that unleashes the hounds when the local mormons refuse to take a hint.

Man, if I had the money for something like that. If only. I’d have a massive TV on my wall with visuals so sharp, it’d stab your eyes apart. A shelf filled with the latest games. Another shelf dedicated slowly to a growing army of Sideshow Collectible figures. A chair so comfy, that it would claim my soul just like that piece of furniture from an episode of The Tick. What about you? What would your dream lair/den/Bat-cave contain?

In Other News: The Consortium is off to a strong start, Hawking Kombat, Quantum Break is selling well and this NES Zapper will show that laughing dog in Duck Hunt who’s the real boss.

Here’s the news that we didn’t post today, because we were too busy trying to justify spending R5000 on a plastic boy.

  1. I just love Mark Hamill. Only way I could love him more is if he was in Star Trek too.

Who needs water, dark beer does wonders for the skin and after you bath in it the Brits can drink it.

I had some wonderful dark beer this weekend. Darling’s Silver Back. Probably one of my favourites at this stage.

Need to try their stuff again, last time (last year) I tasted they just switched to start brewing their own beer and wasn’t great.

I had some Castle Draught. It’s cheap but it does the trick, just like my ex.

At Spur the Castle Lite Draught is R5.50 cheaper than the Castle Draught.

R24.50 for 500ml for Lite (versus R29.90 for Lager which I feel is getting quite steep vs botteld beers), I should know, we hosted a kids party on Saturday at Spur…..

That’s a massive margin which is strange seeing how Lite is more popular.

    My Game Cave would have:

    1) Massive 72inch 4k TV
    2) Top of the range PC
    3) PS4
    4) Full Blu-Ray Home Theater system
    5) Sound Proofing
    6) A cigar lounge + Bar section
    7) The bar would be Star Wars themed.
    8) A “Window” designed to look like a Star Destroyer viewport (This would be the wall behind the TV, professionally painted to appear as if one is looking out over Tatooine).
    9) Shelves. Lots and lots of shelves filled with geekie goodness and games. Professionally lit to match the interior of a Star Destroyer command deck.

yes I have a Star Wars problem.

mine would have all that, a large selection of Opera and Symphonies. Also, the Lego Super Star Destroyer, hanging up.

AND a little bridge. I would need the bridge, as my wife would tell me I could get this over her dead body. Bridge would help there.
