…So it’s now trying jokes. Nintendo has largely failed to get consumers excited for its newest console, mostly because it’s such a hard hard thing to sell. It really doesn’t make much sense unless you’ve played on one for a considerable amount of time. It’s a message they’ve really struggled to get across – so they’re not using comedy.
Here’s the latest TV spot trying to explain it all. Featuring British comedian Rufus Hound it tries to go the Kevin Butler route. Honestly, I don’t think the Wii U would be in such a pickle if they’d just named the thing differently. Even “Wii 2” would send a clearer message.

how refreshing, another article slating the WiiU. Well done lazygamer. It’s funny how, for example, when the WiiU reached a millions sales faster than the xbox and ps3 in japan (http://mynintendonews.com/2013/07/24/wii-u-has-sold-one-million-units-in-japan-since-launch/), the news doesn’t reach you guys. When developers claim how well designed it is, doesn’t register (http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/05/shinen_wii_u_has_enough_power_for_years_to_come_gpu_is_several_generations_ahead_of_current_consoles)…. But gosh darnit, when something negative like low sales or such bubbles up. Lazy gamer on it like sh*t on a blanket. Well trolled guys, you got me. Must feel good.
